Environmental Assessment Consultant

Responsibilities:
– Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies to evaluate the potential effects of proposed projects on the environment.
– Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary data and information for assessments.
– Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on the environmental impact of projects.
– Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management plans.
– Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and standards.
– Conduct field visits and inspections to assess environmental conditions and monitor project activities.
– Deliver presentations and reports to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating assessment findings and recommendations.
– Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
– Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify and address environmental challenges.
– Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
– Utilize strong teamwork and relationship-building skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:
– Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
– Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams.
– Excellent presentation skills to deliver clear and engaging presentations to clients and stakeholders.
– Customer service-oriented mindset, with the ability to provide exceptional service to clients.
– Proficient problem-solving abilities to identify and address environmental challenges.
– Strong relationship-building skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey assessment findings and recommendations.
– Exceptional time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
– Familiarity with environmental regulations, standards, and assessment methodologies is preferred.
– Knowledge of local environmental regulations and practices in Malaysia is a plus.
