Who We Need

The Mount Alvernia Outreach Medical Clinic is a community outreach service of Mount Alvernia Hospital. The clinic provides primary healthcare services to the disadvantaged in our community. The groups will include persons with disabilities, ex-offenders, isolated seniors, foreign workers, vulnerable children and transnational families.

 

The responsibilities are as stated below.

  • Create an excellent service experience and provide a welcoming environment for clinic users.
  • Attend to patients and perform front desk duties such as patient registration, appointments and billing.
  • Prepare and dispense medicine to patients.
  • Assist doctor with simple procedures and act as chaperone when required.
  • Attend to patient queries with regards to MAH community outreach programmes.
  • Perform clinical administrative tasks and other administrative duties such as liaising with social service workers.

How to Succeed

  • Minimum GCE O Levels.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • Works well independently and in a team.
  • Desires to serve the marginalized in our community.
  • Working location at Redhill.
  • Working hours (inclusive of 1 hour break): Mon and Fri- 8.45am to 6.10pm and Tue, Wed and Thu- 10.45am to 8.10pm
