Job Details

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

· Assists in serving meals to residents

· Assists in oral feeding to residents without swallowing disorders

· Assists in activities of daily living (ADL) of residents

· Assists in ensuring the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents

· Ensures good personal hygiene of the residents under his/her care

· Perform general housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of the nursing home

· Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of resident’s beds and lockers

· Assists in the rehabilitation activities such as motion exercise and walking with residents

· Assists and accompanies resident for appropriate therapy as prescribed, example occupational therapy

· Escalate to nurses any emergency situations

· Carries out any other duties as assigned

Secondary Responsibilities and duties (20%)

· Participates in clinical service projects.

· Participates in infection control campaign activities.

Qualifications

· For locals – Secondary/Primary education.

· For Foreign Trained – Basic Nurse Aide Certificate (3-6months) from home country.
