Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of public area under supervision of Housekeeping Supervisor. Hotel Attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.
To maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/service.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean up hotel public areas including hotel entrance / lobby, washroom, carpark & loading bay, staff resting area, guest lift & lift lobby, corridor & staircase, surrounding of swimming pool, and gym.
- Deliver hotel amenities & supplies to rooms or requested location.
- Store hotel amenities & supplies in assigned location after delivered by supplier to hotel
- Receive new linen from Hotel Laundry and store properly
- Place used linen in assigned cage
- Count / Replenish linen in pantry
- Replenish cleaning agent
- Store / Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Attend to guest for assistance in room facilities (e.g. air conditioner)
