Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
– Work closely with the resident’s doctor and multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents; updates on changes in the residents’ condition and needs
– Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan
– Work with allied health professionals and/or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
– Carry out and supervise assessments of all new admissions
– Prepare clinical documentation and ensure all documentations are current
– Prepare and administer medications to residents and comply with safe medication practices
– Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practice
– Participate in training and development of staff
– Work with Supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care
– Deal with emergency that arises and ensure prompt actions to mitigate the situation. Escalate promptly to supervisor, where necessary
Requirements
– Diploma/Degree in Nursing or its equivalent
– 2 years related experience
– Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
Working hours
– Five-day work week
– AM or PM Shift
