Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Home Appliances Purchaser to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing and managing the inventory of home appliances, ensuring that our customers have access to the latest and best products on the market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain a reliable and cost-effective supply chain
- Monitor market trends and conduct research to stay updated on the latest home appliances
- Create purchase orders, manage inventory levels, and track deliveries
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align purchasing with customer demand
- Resolve supply issues and quality concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier information
- Optimize purchasing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
- Bachelor Degree with minimum CGPA of 3.50
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Knowledge of home appliances and the domestic market in Malaysia
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with import and export regulations is a plus
