Guest Service Executive / Senior Guest Service Executive (Singapore)

Reporting to Front Office Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to:

  • Perform all Front Desk related duties including but not limited to check-in, check-out, currency exchange, credit checks, guest folio checks, guest profile maintenance and room allocation in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Perform all Concierge related duties including but not limited to making insightful sight-seeing and dining reservations, booking tickets, assisting with transportation requests, luggage assistance, and any other requests that are legally and morally right in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Manage and promote up-selling (Rooms and F&B) on daily basis
  • Ensure the strategic deployment of manning – performing lobby duties, coordinating meal breaks etc.
  • Check GSO’s cashier closure and verify the float count.
  • Inspect Showrooms and VIP arrival rooms.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping Department on the room turnover and monitor bedding arrangements as well as room situations.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Professional Certificate/NiTEC/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in related field.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willing to perform 3 rotating shifts (including night shifts) across a 5 day work week.
  • Willing to learn and positive attitude
  • Those with no or minimal experience may be considered for a more junior position as Guest Services Agent
