Roles & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:
- Ensure reports are actioned upon every start of shift.
- Traces to be checked at the start of shift and cleared by the end of shift.
- Create reservations and update all information received to bookings in Property Management System with accuracy.
- Ensure accurate pricing and market segmentation of gained business.
- Liaise with other departments and to ensure revenue is maximized with inventory availability and correct pricing.
- Abide to Hotel’s and Department’s policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Manage Reservations’ operations on email inbox (Reservations, Tour, and Website) and phone calls.
- Ensure reservations are created with accuracy by the rates committed and information received.
- Ensure amendments and cancellations of bookings are actioned upon with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Ensure correct market segmentation of bookings created.
- Mode of guarantee of every booking to be ensued after booking confirmation.
- To collect pre-payment upon confirmation for bookings confirmed under non-refundable policy.
- To provide quotations with correct inventory availability and pricing
- Maintain service standards when liaising with internal and external guests.
- Knows Hotel’s products and services, room types as well as location and layout.
- Knows the credit policy of hotel.
- Process Advance Deposits, modifications, and cancellations promptly and timely
- Well versed with all promotions, packages, and the upselling of products/services.
- Deals with guests adeptly and maintains confidentiality of guest information and property data.
- Helps to meet monthly revenue targets
- Make reservations for other services as requested.
- Follow all policies and procedures, comply with quality assurance and standards.
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
