Roles & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:
- To assist guests with any form of help including recommendations of tours, restaurants, sightseeing, events and dinning.
- To also assist guests in any form of travel related assistance like transportation and airline reservations.
- To keep the counter updated with all the necessary information on tours, attractions, maps, places of interest and dining.
- To take charge of the overall daily operations of the Bell Desk, Front Driveway and Concierge Desk.
- Check & verify monthly billings of newspapers, limousines, and coaches.
- Assist guest with any form of help they would require during their stay in Singapore.
- Check traces in the Opera system and follow up accordingly.
- Maintain daily stamps float checklist after every shift and purchase stamps as and when required.
- Ensure proper recording of all tours booked in the Tour Logbook.
- To check emails daily and respond accordingly.
- Assist Bell Desk operations whenever necessary.
- Ensure all Bell Staff are always following hotel standards.
- Approve the Bell Desk weekly roster.
- To approve all leave and PH applications.
- Conduct training for all Bell staff and send them for external training.
- Ensure staff grooming standards, attendance and discipline is checked regularly.
- To arrange daily checks of the hotel Gym area by the Front Office Team.
- To maintain records of the checks and to ensure all defects spotted are reported to the respective department till follow-up works are completed.
- To maintain the Gym member records and ensure charges collected monthly and posted to Opera by Reception or Concierge.
- To ensure all Class Pass and The Ripple Club charges are recorded correctly and posted to Opera by Concierge/Reception team.
- To be responsible for Stock item used by Gym and order for replacement.
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
