Job Overview
To assist the Assistant Manager in carrying out the requirements of their responsibilities with which they must be thoroughly familiar with. Whenever the Asst. Manager is absent, the Team Leaders together will assume their role. At those times when necessary, seek the guidance of the Service Manager.
Job Scope
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Check quality of food and beverages before serving to customers
- Have a good knowledge of the food and beverages that the Hotel provides
- Handle customers feedback and complaints
- Proper and tactful handling of verbal complaints from customers
- Liaises with Stewarding department on quarterly inventory taking / costs / breakage
- Submits weekly staff roster / training schedules to the division head
- Enforces staff motivation and team building
- Ensures that all staff including casual staff applies the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
- Clear understanding of the activities of direct competitors and seek for counter measures (via SWOT analysis and regular competitors survey)
- Conducts day to day business and internal/external relations with the code of conduct in mind and on the basis of the Guiding Principles and in the spirit of a “Heartwarming Family”.
Job Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality Management
- 3 – 4 years relevant working experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor
- 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience as an Assistant Manager
- Teamwork service oriented
- Discreet, calm & diplomatic
- Strong leadership mentality
