LINEN ATTENDANT (SINGAPORE)
Roles & Responsibilities
Purpose of Job
Perform daily assigned duties to support the day-to-day laundry, linen and uniform room operations, ensuring the delivery of clean linens, uniforms, towels to all internal and external customers. Handles guests’ requests and respond to their concerns and feedback in a professional and courteous manner. He/She complies with organisational guidelines and regulations on hygiene and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform sorting, replacing and storage of linens and uniforms.
· Issuance of staff uniforms to employees.
· Assist to conduct inventory count and maintain the accuracy of linens and uniforms records.
· Restocking, checking and assembling supplies and inventory.
· Coordinate with external laundry vendor and ensure the delivery of clean linens, towels and uniforms.ponsi
· Handle incoming phone calls from guests’ or departments requests, concerns and feedback.
· Comply with organisational and regulatory requirements on hygiene, and workplace safety and health when carrying out work.
· Work on shifts including weekends and public holidays.
· Any other duties which may be assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
Requirements
· Minimum Secondary school.
· Minimum two years’ relevant experience.
Physically fit to meet physical demands which may involve lifting of heavy laundry and linen loads.
