Job Summary
We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to support our manufacturing operations across the Senai and Tebrau plants.
The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing machine downtime, strengthening preventive maintenance and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse machine downtime and breakdown data to identify problems and trends.
Review and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans.
Work closely with Maintenance Technicians to identify recurring equipment issues.
Investigate major machine breakdowns and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Recommend improvements to prevent repeated breakdowns.
Review equipment condition and identify aging or critical assets that may require replacement.
Review spare parts requirements and criticality to ensure the right parts are available.
Develop and monitor Maintenance & Reliability KPIs.
Maintain and improve equipment information in the CMMS system.
Support and implement continuous improvement / MEP projects.
Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering and other departments to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Reliability Engineer or related engineering role.
Experience with CMMS / Oracle EAM is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Preventive Maintenance and Root Cause Analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Candidates with relevant Mechanical/Electrical technical qualifications and experience may also be considered.
Salary & Location
Basic Salary: RM6,000 – RM8,000
Location: Senai & Tebrau, Johor
