Job Description
Weemax Packaging Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a responsible and hardworking Warehouse Assistant (Incoming) to support daily warehouse operations, particularly the receiving, inspection, recording, and storage of incoming raw materials and goods. The successful candidate will ensure that incoming materials are received accurately, properly documented, and stored according to warehouse procedures. This role requires attention to detail, good organisational skills, physical fitness, and the ability to work effectively with the warehouse, production, purchasing, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities
Handle daily incoming warehouse operations and assist with receiving raw materials, packaging materials, supplies, and other goods.
Receive, check, count, and record incoming materials against delivery orders, purchase orders, and other relevant documents.
Inspect incoming goods for quantity, visible damage, and discrepancies, and report any issues to the supervisor.
Arrange and store received materials properly according to warehouse procedures and designated storage locations.
Label and organise incoming stock to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
Update inventory records and ensure accurate documentation of all incoming items.
Assist with unloading, moving, and arranging goods using appropriate handling equipment.
Support stock counting, inventory checking, and stock reconciliation activities.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices and ensure proper stock rotation where applicable.
Coordinate with the Purchasing, Production, and Logistics departments to ensure materials are received and made available when required.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and 5S standards.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, if required and appropriately authorised.
Report damaged goods, stock discrepancies, shortages, and other inventory issues to the supervisor.
Follow company SOPs, safety rules, and warehouse procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Key Requirements
Relevant qualifications or previous warehouse experience are an advantage.
Previous experience in incoming warehouse operations or goods receiving is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing, corrugated carton, or packaging environment is an advantage.
Able to perform physical work, lift and move materials safely, and handle warehouse tasks.
Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic record-keeping and computer skills are an advantage.
Forklift licence or relevant operating experience is an added advantage.
Willing to learn and follow company procedures and safety requirements.
Salary
RM1,800–RM2,800 per month, depending on experience and suitability for the position.
